"Pleasant stay at Linden Suites"

Reviewed December 13, 2011

The place was in a good location. Minutes to the megamall and taxis always knew where it was no matter where I was in Manila. At night, the place was a little too noisy for my liking. However, it did not bother us as we where so tired and sleepy by the time we got home. The wifi was non existent throughout the suite except for 1 room which was occupied by my sister. Perhaps they can work on making the wifi have more coverage. The service was fantastic. Every staff was nice and helpfull. It is the other guest that was rude. There was a few guest there that thought they were better than everyone else. They were rude to staff and guests. Really!!! For those who think they are better than everyone, get a life. You are showing that you have never been anywhere in your life. Ignorance is not bliss!!! Plus, if you think you are better than Manila, don't come here or go back to your unhappy life abroad. The guests here are having as much fun as possible and the staff is making this experience as amicable to all as possible.

"Overall Very Good Spot To Go Back To"

Reviewed November 20, 2011

Hotel is very nice and the people who work there are very good to work with. Issues get taken care of quickly since my ref died after being there two days and was fixed quickly. It does get a little irritating to have to rent pots, pans, rice cooker even if cost is relevantly cheap. Just think they should come with room. Hotel is about 45 to hour and a half from ocean park and other attractions, but mega mall is 5 to 10 min walk and there are plenty of choices to choose from. Overall a very good places to stay, just a few things would of preferred but still a good experience.

Room Tip: If staying in tower two have to transfer after first floor, but tower one goes all the way up from ground floor.

"Great Place to Stay"

We stayed at the Linden Suits 4 different times and for all the reasons above we keep coming back. The staff is doing everything they can to make sure all your needs are taken care of. The rooms were very clean, and the locaton was great. When getting a cab, they make sure the cab driver is using a meter. They also take the info of the cabs licenses and licenses palate number, now that’s a big deal. We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom, it was a beautiful room and very large. You cannot go wrong at the Linden suits we highly recommend Linden Suits when staying in Manila.

Room Tip: For the price the one bedroom was spacious and very nice.

"Nice hotel, nice big room, near to Mega Mall"

Reviewed September 26, 2011

Stayed at Linden Suites for a week long business trip.
As it's my first time in Manila, the traffic condition was quite an experience for me, I was thankful that my office is just walking distance from the hotel. I believe due to security concern, every where you go in Manila you will be searched, so I kind of get use to it pretty quickly.
I was awed by the huge size of the room that I got, it got a hall with a large study desk, sofa couch, and television, there is a kitchen with stove, fridge and dining table that can fit a small family complete with cooking utensils.

You can also take a 20min stroll to the Mega Mall where you can find restaurants, local food court with wide variety of food choices on top of the usual shops and departmental stores.

Room Tip: There is always heavy traffic around the area, if you plan to travel between places by vehicle, make sure you plan and leave way way way ahead of time. For me, I only walked around the area unless my local colleagues bring me to places.

“Great Hotel!”

I stayed at the Linden Suites in September with my brother, two sisters, mine and my sisters partners - we are filipino although living in australia and our partners are aussie & samoan. (our ages between 15-24 years). we had a 3 bedroom suite on the 8th floor overlooking san miguel ave - great views.
this was our first visit back after 5 years without our parents. not speaking filipino and unsure of the area it was a little bit scary but once we arrived (and was picked up at the airport by the hotel) we felt right at home and SAFE.
as soon as you walk in they politely screen you. people may think invasive, but the extra security felt good. check in was quick, arrived not long after 3pm and everything was ready. this was helpful after a long flight including a stop over.
we were able to order food directly to the room - jolibee, chow king, mcdonalds etc and the location of the hotel was great as the food always arrived within 45 minutes.
pool & gym are good. one thing we were disappointed in was that the outdoor pool was under reconstruction. i was not aware of this when i booked the room, nor was i told when we checked in - we had to find out for ourselves when we tried to get to the roof top. this was a big big let down as the main reason we booked this hotel was because of the outdoor pool.
buffet breakfast was good and room service was good too. although we didnt even know about room service until 5 days into our 10 day trip. we then ordered breakfast and dinner room service - very quick and very tasty. i suggest to have the room service menu already in the room.
rooms were big and cleaned everyday - housekeeping were good as our belongings werent touched invasively - one surprise was that we forgot to lock a camera and ipod intotw safe, so the hotel rang us BEFORE any housekeeping was done to confirm that they were allowed in the room before they would clean.
location is good, mini stop (convenience store) is right next door, 7/11 around the back.
a big thankyou to the doormen/security guards who always called taxis for us and then wrote down the taxi details and our room number before they let them drive away with us.
mega mall is less than 5 mins away, even in traffic. greenhills is about 20 mins away.
doormen greeted us by name within a few days and they worked around the clock.

overall i would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends/family and may even stay again if the hotel pool on the roof will be open.

thank you to everyone at Linden Suites!

we stayed 2 nights at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, everything is perfect, check in & out was fast enough, has a secured parking. frontdesk staffs are nice and always smiling as well as all the staffs except from one staff in the restaurant, this guy might not know how to smile to locals and i've seen him smiling and greeting foreign guests. unfortunately i didn't get his name.
Everything else is great, my daughter so much enjoyed the heated pool, my hubby and i where so much relaxed by the very spacious room.breakfast is okay and I must say it is one of the "remaining" great hotels in manila and I would definitely recommend this to my friends and relatives.

The reason I booked Linden Suites is security and safety. Actually, one of my friend recommend that Ortigas where loacted is a kind of business area in Manila. So , you can walk around safely and don't worry about strange people.
Service is excellent and nice, staff is very kind. We stayed in two-bedrooms suites, toilet was always clean and all thing in the room is perfect. Air condition is a little bit cold. Even livingroom got a audio which can connect to iPod!
The problem is location because it take a few minutes(20-30mins) to Malate and Pasay. So, be aware of tax driver who don't turn on meter.

“Good hotel, Excellent & Friendly Staff”

Technically, I would give 3.5 stars...My mother, my family, and my sister's family stayed here recently; visiting family we haven't seen in at least 10 yrs. We had two 2-rm suites, in tower 2 -- spacious, clean bathrooms, good water pressure, fresh linen, working a/c, and soundproof windows. We didn't use the stove, but made heavy use of the good sized refrigerator and freezer, and microwave oven. The floors though didn't seem to be cleaned on a regular basis, as walking barefoot in the room resulted in very dirty feet by the end of the day.
The breakfast buffet (breakfast for 2 was complimentary) had a good variety/selection with both lunch and breakfast items, which were fresh and overall tasty. The breakfast staff was excellent, friendly, and accomodating. The 2nd time we ate there, they remembered our orders of 3 coffees, bringing them to the table as we sat down. Dinnertime was a different experience though; we ate there one night -- food was fair to good; service was slow.
Housekeeping staff was friendly and responsive. Lobby staff and doormen were also friendly and helpful. However, it was confusing and frustrating when front-desk staff told us at check-in that, due to our bed-type requests (1 suite to have 2 queen beds, and the other with 1 queen and 2 twin beds), they couldn't accomodate our request (stated when reservations were made) of our 2 suites being close to one another. So instead, we chose 2 suites, each with 2 queen beds. And this obviously took some time to sort out (not welcoming when we're checking in past midnight due to flight schedules).
I can't comment on the location, since I believe that it's crowded everywhere in Manila, and anywhere you go you will encounter much traffic and crowds. As another reviewer stated, although MegaMall is easily seen and "close by," driving there will take 10-20 minutes because of the traffic. A relative, who took us various places, was able to park behind the hotel with little trouble. Much more close by are McDonald's and a few other fast-food resaurants, plus a 24-hr convenience store to buy needed things like milk and bottled water.
The hotel itself seemed to be on the small side, nice, though showing signs of wear. The lobby size was a fair size. The hallways were small. The elevators in Tower 2 were small, feeling almost claustrophobic, and not well ventilated. The gym was adequate, good size with up-to-date equipment, but also not well-ventilated.
Overall, we had a good stay, and a good experience The price was fair.

We've stayed here twice during our family holiday to the Philippines. We enjoyed our stay here in Nov 2007, so when we came back in April it was a no brainer.
The staff were very friendly to us and always willing to help. Everyone from the bellboys, front desk, housekeeping, and servers at restaurants were very nice. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch and food was good.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was very spacious, and clean. A/C worked great, and it was just great to come back to the hotel after being out in the chaos of Manila.

 “Good location, excellent guards.”

Used their three bedroom suites, booked 3 suites for four nights. Airport taxi to hotel 900.00 pesos, non airport taxi 250 pesos only. Reception staff not friendly, no smiles. Doormen/guards were fantastic, nothing too hard. Always helpfull and quick to fetch taxi.
Rooms new and clean. Aircon adequate. Swimming pool crowded. Pool attendants helpful and friendly.
Location is unbeatable for us. Taxi is plentiful. There are 24/7 food outlets, bakery and convinience shop behind the hotel. Felt safe walking outside to get food at 2 in the morning.
Will certainly come back.

The Linden Suites Manila is located in Pasig's Pasig not far from Mandaluyong, the new business centre of Philippines. It is an exciting area with excellent shopping and entertainment. It has an executive lounge with its own check-in and check-out service. Here you could get a free American breakfast and even drink that makes Linden Suites Manila difference to another hotel in Philippnes. It also offered recreational amenities include a health club, a sauna…So fantastic. Moreover, the staff always kept smiling when greeting customer and being pleasant.
